Adopted from Stephen King's stories, the series shows some of these stories which occur in a serious prison amidst a genuine woods named Maine. For the starting, the series recounts the account of Henry Deaver, a death-row lawyer, whose fate takes him back to the place where he grew up in Castle Rock where he reestablishes dim past because of the mysterious call that he has received.
After half a season of Easter eggs, slow pacing, and pure mood, [Castle Rock] delivered not only the best episode of the series, but one of the best episodes of television in 2018.
We needed The Queen. It's a reminder of what makes television a viable and extraordinary storytelling platform. It also shows that creators Sam Shaw, Dustin Thomason don't need King's direction to stand out.
The music in Castle Rock - courtesy of composer Chris Westlake - has been nothing short of exemplary throughout the entire series, but in "The Queen" is practically becomes a character unto itself.
Television doesn't get much more heartbreaking than "The Queen," a showcase for the legendary Sissy Spacek and one of the best hours of television this year.
