We live here a long series of exciting and powerful events that look quite different from the past. The second season opens with a new series of dramatic events that begin when children discover that Topher may be more dangerous than they might imagine, friends might think to help their friend. On the other hand, Alex goes to work in Darius, which may be something new to him, and Pride plans to kill Yuna again.
Runaways finds a stronger through-line in its sophomore year, but it needs to better balance the endless brooding with levity... The kids have already escaped their families-give them a little more rambunctious energy and wit with which to celebrate it
It's not boring, but it's not as gripping as it could be, either. Compared with the stilted, motionless season one, season two of Runaways is a definite improvement.
For a bunch of spoiled rich kids from Brentwood, with little cash, no fresh clothes and few, if any, street skills, they're doing remarkably well on the run.
