The events of this dramatic series are about Sid Burnett, a girl trying to have a perfect experience. Sid is a Los Angeles police investigator and has a new partner, Nancy McKenna, a working mother with a complex past and an unrecognized lifestyle that hides in private. Over time, both women find that they do not agree much, but they find common ground when it comes to doing dangerous tasks, most importantly those confrontations against the most dangerous criminals in Los Angeles.
