We come back again during the second season, which seems to be full of dramatic dramas, where Caroline makes a new and unique experience by introducing Eve to her new team before Eve informs them about the Villanelle case. On the other hand, it seems that Villanelle, who needs to lie during her recovery, may be different for her where she finds a good Samaritan to move and take care of her unexpectedly.
An unexpected episode in which Eve and Villanelle's stories once again diverge almost entirely - until they don't - there are surprising twists, truly moving moments and laugh-out-loud funny lines.
Sunday's anxiety-inducing "Killing Eve" introduces viewers to Villanelle (Jodie Comer) at her most fragile, and it's a shocking and heartbreaking sight.
Sorry, Villanelle. The show has trained us to think she's stronger and smarter than almost everyone else, and it's something of a shock to see her struggle against two different larger, stronger opponents.
Two episodes of Villanelle out in the wild just trying to survive... feels like at least one too many, and a distraction from what the series does best.
