It seems that the second season will be full of new and diverse events, as Daniel struggles again during that mission by trying to help a new student learn. On the other hand, Miguel's new contact may change things, while Johnny tries to fix the relationship that is about to collapse. On the other hand, there seems to be more tensions between dojos and up to the point of collapse, and Daniel tries to promote differently to Miyagi do in that period.
The episodes are as funny as ever, the music is as head-banging cool as you want it to be, the themes are as deep as any prestige drama, and most importantly, Cobra Kai is just plain fun.
The first season kept surprising me with how much I wanted to see what happened next. Season Two unfortunately feels more like what I feared Cobra Kai might be: a rehash of a tale that's already been retold to death.
