The series revolves around the character of Edmund, Lord Blackader, the grandson of the original Black Adder. The Lord regularly deals with the Queen, where he plans more to increase his status. The Lord deals with Lord Chamberlain, Lord Melchite and the Queen's demented former nanny Nursie daily on a regular basis.
