[on the spoof musical in The Tall Guy (1989)] Mel [Mel Smith] really wanted to do that because he didn't like Andrew Lloyd Webber's stuff any more than I did, but he did love Sondheim, as do I, so it's a kind of hybrid actually. It's a send-up of both of them but it's most venomous I think about Andrew Lloyd Webber. There's one song that's terribly like him. Show less «
