Liu Cixin's scary, mysterious Three Body Problem novels about an alien invasion from Alpha Centauri is done pretty well in this made-in-China TV series, thankfully without very much "Asian silliness" that often spoils big budget entertainment from the East. This is SCIENCE fiction with an emphasis on the science, not for the comic-book movie lovers. If you think aliens will ever arrive, come to be our friends, do you ever think about how many ants you stepped on when you walked to your car?
