The real question is why they bothered... The dialogue verges on the clumsy, the historical references seem shoe-horned and the departed actors who made up the original cast are very much missed.

The plot was far-fetched, two characters are missing and much of the dialogue was so corny I laughed out loud.

The Arts Desk
This show feels like it was constructed by dropping thriller cliches into a dustbin and picking them out at random.

Sunday Times (UK)
Beneath the elegant new setting, it felt like a basic serial-killer sudoku rather than a whodunnit Enigma.
