It's the all-new Muppet series that carries more adventures, while a scooter rushes to offer episodes every time and it'll be cool. Now, the obstacles, dispersions, and complications that the rest of the Muppet gang will receive will move in a way that looks very different between these people.
Piggy is the undisputed star of the new series, commanding attention and adoration in weekly lifestyle segments... Which is fine, even when we might wish for a little more variety in a puzzlingly formula-driven variety show.
How did this turn into a Miss Piggy fandom piece? I don't know. But as I watched it, I thought about how smart Jim Henson was to give us girls someone who is confident in herself-even if she is a pig.
The show is totally bonkers, but in the right sort of way. It's so unrealistically charming that you can't help but smile and snicker at what happens in each of the skits.
Not as innovative or original as The Muppet Show and nowhere near as entertaining as THE MUPPETS, Muppets Now is an enjoyable time-waster perfect for all ages.
