Perhaps things may be wrong for Jay where his ambitions seem to have failed due to his loyalty to the boss in the crime Hackney Beverly. Contrary to what happens, Jay puts Jay on the foundations of his organized crime ring away from the gang he joined. Maybe things will look fine during that new gang until Beverly discovers his lack of allegiance, a bad robbery in North London and a trip to Jamaica to tear the crew apart. Things may seem wrong especially when everyone watches over the secret police.
It doesn't shy away from the ugliness that surrounds the two countries it's set in, and places it under a microscope. When it comes to authentic storytelling, the intent is certainly there. And it shows.
They needn't have bothered. While some of the acting is decent, especially from Ashley Chin...the writing is unfocused and it's hamfistedly edited and loaded with Caribbean clichés.
