So many people were fanatical about this guy, he truly hated jews. But for sure stalin killed way more people than hitler. The truth always lays somewhere in between the different stories.

If a documentary, especially by someone with no academic credentials states something like this it's pretty safe to assume it falls under the holocaust denial cottage industry and has little to no credibility.
