Marley Rose is a McKinley High School sophomore and member of New Directions. We meet Marley in Season Four when she auditions as part of Will Schuester replacing a large graduating class. Marley has a girl-next-door vibe and huge voice, which generates comparisons to one of New Directions more talented alums, Rachel Berry.Marley family is poor and we learn that her mother is McKinley's new lunch lady, the morbidly obese Millie. This presents additional struggles for Marley as she much overcome hearing cruel jokes made at her mother's expense.
