A professional television and film editor since 1991, Jay has worked on "Aqua Teen Hunger Force", "Squidbillies", "Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell", "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast", "Gravity Falls", and "Wander Over Yonder". Jay also served as supervising editor and producer on the feature film Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon.Jay wrote, produced, directed and edited Stomp! Shout! Scream! (2005), a beach party rock and roll monster movie, featuring the legendary Florida Skunk Ape. The independently-produced 35mm production has screened at over 30 film festivals, winning best feature film at the Toofy Film Festival and the Magnolia Independent Film Festival. The film is represented by Shoreline Entertainment for worldwide distribution.Jay's filmmaking career started with the science fiction genre when he wrote, directed and edited three short monster movies-- "Mountain of Terror Day of Dread", "Project: Tiki Puka Puka", & "Esta Noche We Ride!". Collectively, the "Monster Trilogy" has been show in film festivals from Liverpool, England to Ontario, Canada to Austin, Texas.In 2002, Jay co-produced and edited "Y'all Come! The Hell Hole Swamp Festival", a documentary profiling Jamestown, SC, home of the 30th annual Hell Hole Swamp Festival. The film has screened in ten film festivals, including The Rural Route Film Festival in New York City, The Maryland Film Festival, and Detroit Docs, garnering two Best-of Awards.
