Jason starred as Claudio in 'Measure for Measure', Paul in the 'Blue Angel', Malcolm' in Adrian Noble's landmark production of 'Macbeth' with Derek Jacobi and Ben in 'The Destiny of Me' alongside Simon Callow.TV & film quickly followed, with roles in 'Inspector Morse' 'The Chief' 'Iphigenia at Aulis' 'A Dark Adapted Eye' opposite Helena Bonham-Carter, 'Femme Fatale' with Simon Callow, 'Sharpe's Battle' with Sean Bean and the title role of Gawain, in the TV movie 'Gawain And The Green Knight.' Jason then won the much coveted role of bike-riding 60's policeman 'Mike Bradley' in ITV's number one drama and international hit 'Heartbeat.' For 5 years, to over 15 million viewers a week, Jason portrayed the crime-busting heartthrob that made him a household name. His popularity as Bradley was recognized with a nomination for 'Best Newcomer' at The National Television Awards.
